Father's Day!

Hands up everyone who has trouble finding the perfect gift on Father's Day? I always struggle with finding something great when shopping for my Dad, and my husband is equally difficult to find something for when I take the kids shopping so they can get their presents!
Men are so hard to buy for! Unless they love receiving socks and underpants!! So how about something a little different this year?
We always tend to think of Mums, Aunties, Nans, female friends etc when sending cake as a gift don't we? But men love to eat cake too!
A box of cupcakes would be something a little different to send this year as well as being home made! Get the kids in the kitchen to do some baking, they'll love it! And the recipient will love it even more!
Bake your cupcakes in some brightly coloured paper cases before letting them cool and decorating them. Use sprinkles or just swirls of buttercream! You could also use my edible printed toppers to decorate them, they're really easy to use, just cut them out and sit them on top! I'll include some examples below.

However you choose to decorate your cupcakes the lucky recipient is sure to love them! Finish them off by placing in a lovely box and tying with ribbon. Maybe even attach a gift tag! Cupcake gift boxes are easy to get a hold of lately. You can usually find them in Hobbycraft and most supermarkets have them in the baking aisle. You can sometimes get them in the discount stores like Home Bargains! Always worth a look :) Be sure to send me pictures of your creations so that I can feature them in a future blog post!
